About Us

For four years, owners Garry and Kay Wilson, have methodically planted their eight hectare vineyard and adopted many aspects of Italian architecture to capture and create an atmosphere that is distinctly Tuscan.
Much of the inspiration for this exciting, new venture can be attributed to the couples several trips to Italy, where they discovered a thriving passionate culture for food and wine.

Between 2001 and 2010 under the Highlander Ultrafine Tumbarumba Brand, they annually produced the finest bale of wool in the world - breaking their own world record on six occasions! Italian high-end luxury clothing company, Loro Pianoa, purchased every kilo of the precious fibre. This business association and interest in Italian/Tuscan lifestyle captured the couples imagination.
